RSS voices concern over Ram Mandir donation counting irregularities

Belagavi, Jul 12 (UNI) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on Sunday expressed concern over the alleged irregularities in counting donations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya, saying such incidents should not be allowed to undermine the faith of millions of devotees.
The issue figured prominently at the concluding session of the annual Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak in Belagavi, where the organisation said it was confident that the ongoing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe and police action, initiated at the request of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, would reach a logical conclusion.
In a statement issued after the meeting, the RSS said participants expressed grief over the incident and expected the Trust to ensure that no such lapses occur in future that could hurt the reverence and deep faith of Ram Bhakts towards the temple.
