RSS, VHP giving military training to volunteers: Cong

New Delhi, Jul 27 (UNI) The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee today alleged that the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) were giving Arms training to their activists, in an attempt to 'demoralise' and 'terrorise' the national party in Assam.
According to President of APCC Ripun Bora, the so-called socio-cultural organisation Bajrang Dal, as part of its organisational work in Assam, had recently imparted arms and other lethal weapons training to its activists at Geeta Ashram, district headquarters in Hojai, Assam.
Besides, members of the women wing of the right-wing outfit VHP, called Durga Vahini, also received similar military-like training at Nalbari district headquarters, Mr Bora further alleged, adding that handling of any type of arms without any valid licence is a serious offence.
