RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat arrives in Meghalaya on two-day visit

Shillong, Sep 24 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Meghalaya on a two-day visit on Saturday evening.
This is Bhagwat's maiden visit as the head of RSS to the hill state, which is the Christian majority state. His visit to Meghalaya also assumed significance as the state is going to fresh Assembly elections early next year between February and March in 2023.
Bhagwat is scheduled to meet with civil society groups and well-wishers where he will discuss upon the present development of the organisation, a RSS functionary said.
