Dharwad, Oct 30 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabole on Saturday said there should be a population policy in the country, and it should be equally applicable to all sections of the society.
While addressing a press conference on the last day of the three-day All India Executive Board meeting of the Sangh here on Saturday, Hosabole said keeping in mind the availability of natural resources, a population policy should be made. At the meeting, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, reiterated the need for a population policy during the meeting. A resolution on this has been passed by the RSS on this in the past.
He also said that the RSS will hold events to celebrate 75 years of independence and volunteers of the Sangh will work in collaboration with the society and various organisations to organise these events.
