RS by-poll: BJP’s MP unit sends names to Delhi

Bhopal, Jul 25 (UNI) In view of a by-poll in Madhya Pradesh for a Rajya Sabha seat, a meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Election Committee concluded here this evening with a decision to dispatch a panel of approximately a dozen names to the Central Election Committee.
Among those present were Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former chief minister Kailash Joshi and the saffron party’s state President Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan. There is a possibility of the would-be candidate being from outside Madhya Pradesh and BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav’s name is doing the rounds.
