RS adjourned for 3rd time till 1500 hrs

New Delhi, Jan 3 (UNI) Opposition members led by the BSP continued to protest over the Pune violence in the Rajya Sabha, leading to the third adjournment on Wednesday --
the last till 1500 hrs.
Soon after the House met post-lunch, Mr Satish Chandra Misra of the Bahujan Samaj Party raised the issue of violent clashes in Pune on Tuesday.
He said, the attacks were in a "planned manner" and such incidents were happening in all BJP-ruled states.
Mr Mishra was joined by Congress and Trinamool Congress members who too wanted a discussion on the matter.
Deputy Chairman of the House P J Kurien said, "I have heard you (Mishra). You have raised the issue in the morning and the Chairman disposed it. I cannot take a decision."
"I will only take calling attention motion and allow me to take it," Mr Kurien said.
The Opposition then started raising anti-government slogans.
The Chair then adjourned the House till 1500 hrs.
Earlier the House was adjourned twice, the first time till 1200 hrs and the second till 1400 hrs.
