Rs 67 crores spent on roads, buildings and bridges in Palampur

Palampur, Aug 14 (UNI) Chief Parliamentary Secretary Education and Urban Development Ashish Butel on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of the health sub-centre building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 63 lakh in Gram Panchayat Jiya.
In his address, Butel said the government is committed to providing best and modern health services to the people of the state. He said that better health facilities are being provided at the doorstep by strengthening health services in Palampur constituency too. He said that instructions have been given to the department to complete this building in a time-bound manner.
The CPS said that Schools of Excellence are being built in every assembly constituency of the state. In this series, Government Senior Secondary School Jiya of Palampur Assembly constituency has been selected for School of Excellence. He said that tourism subject is also being started as a vocational course in this school.
