Rs 54.54 cr released for compensation to farmers for crop loss in AP

Kakinada, Apr 28 (UNI) The state government has released Rs 54.54 crores towards compensation to farmers for the crop loss sustained during September, October, November and December last year and also during January this year.

Disclosing this to newsmen here on Tuesday Minister for Agriculture and cooperation Kurasala Kannababu said that despite facing severe financial crunch the Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy had ordered for releasing of the funds keeping in view the welfare of the farmers.
