Rs 50 lakh for rehabilitation of malnourished children: Gavit

Thane, Aug 23 (UNI) Palghar MP Rajendra Gavit (BJP) on Thursday said he would return

by the way of all out support to the Shramajivi Sanghatana, which had a lion's share in his

victory in the recent Lok Sabha elections from the district.



Mr Gavit was elected to the seat which fell vacant following the untimely death of the sitting

MP also of the BJP Chintaman wanaga.



Addressing a meeting organised at Usgaon of Vasai in Palghar this noon, he said the Shramajivi

Sanghatana and its leader Vivek Pandit had a vital role to play and had a lion's share in the election.



He declared a donation of Rs 50 lakh for the upcoming rehabilitation and health centre of the

Vithu Mauli Trust for the sake of the malnourished children.



Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is to inaugurate the centre at Jawhar on September 1,

it was stated.
