Rs 23,294 Cr worth works are under progress in new Capital Amaravati: Officials

Amaravati, Apr 19 (UNI) Officials explained Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that Rs 23,294 crore worth workers are being carried out in the new capital city Amaravati and Rs 48,115 crore required to complete the construction of capital city.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister held a meeting with the CRDA and other officials to review the progress of the constructions in the capital city Amaravati last night. The officials informed the Chief Minister said that after calculating interest, the capital city construction cost would be more than Rs 51,000 crore. The government could take loans to the tune of Rs 38,590 crore from the HUDCO, World Bank and other institutions, the officials told the Chief Minister.
CM asked the officials to evolve separate plans on the expenditure for the construction of administrative city. He said that the administrative city is coming up in 1300 acres of land.
