Rs 16,256.29 lakh liabilities accrued in Kupwara, north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 24 (UNI) An amount of Rs 16,256.29 lakh liabilities have accrued in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir in Roads and Buildings (R&B), Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) due to resource constraints and the work done liabilities could not be cleared so far as the same are outside the available budgetary provisions.
This information was given by Planning, Development and Monitoring Minister in the Legislative Council to a question by Kaiser Jamsheed Lone here today.
The reply said there are Rs 64.05 lakh liability under district sector in R&B, Rs 10,050.45 lakh in I&FC and Rs 1609.83 lakh in PHE.
