RPF apprehends Con man defaming Railway's food

Hyderabad, Jul 23 (UNI) Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Guntakal Division have apprehended a cheater for cheating the railway officials about Lizard in the vegetable biryanai at a Food stall of Guntakal Railway Station.
One Passenger by name Sundar Pal complained that, a lizard part was found in a vegetable biryani, which he purchased from Guntakal Railway Station food stall and fallen sick by consuming the poisonous food. He complained that he is not feeling well as he ate poisonous food, accordingly he is admitted to railway hospital Guntakal, an SCR statement here said on Tuesday.
During course of conversations, Divisional Commercial Manager, Guntakal Division suspected about the allegations.
During the course of enquiry Railway officials came to the notice about similar incident at Jabalpur Railway station. The officials at Jabalpur sent the photograph of the person who complained about lizard in the samosa and it was found to be of the same accused person. It was found that a similar complaint about a blade in the idly served at Miraj Railway Station of Pune Division.
When the photo of the accused person was shared with Pune Division, they confirmed that the same person was involved in the incident. In both the cases, the same person is said threatened stall owners with complaints. On Comparison of the Modus operandi and photographs of the person it is found that the same person is making complaints of food adulteration and blackmailing for money.
Later, the Railway officials laid a trap on Sunder Pal with the help of stall owner and offered bribe to the accused in lieu of not filling the complaint against the railways.
He accepted the money from stall owner to withdraw the complaint. Finally, he confessed his wrong doing.
After verifying his statement and video a case was registered against Sundar Pal, the statement added.
