Jammu, Jan 20 (UNI) Union Minister General VK Singh on Monday said that road connectivity is pre-requisite for growth and development.
As part of public outreach programme launched by the Central government for the Union Territory of J&K, the Minister conducted a programme at Higher Secondary School, Tikri in Udhampur district inaugurated Veterinary Hospital Building at Mand (Tikri) and 1x3.15 MVA,33/11 KV receiving station, Chak under R-APDRP commissioned with a cost of Rs 251 lakh besides laying foundation stone for improvement/up gradation of Tikri Chanas road.
“Road connectivity is the basic requirement for growth and development of an area and Central government is endeavouring hard to establish a strong road network in the UT,” said the Minister while addressing the gathering.
