Road blockade lifted on second day in Pondy

Puducherry, Jul 17(UNI) Villagers of Saidarapet and relatives of a woman died in a private medical college hospital at Kirumambakkam near here ,lifted their road blockade following an agreement reaching with the hospital.
Bhupeshini (36), wife of Sivakumar (40) of Saidarapet, was admitted to a private medical college hospital following fever and she died day before yesterday in the hospital.
Alleging that she died due to medical negligence ,the relatives of the woman refused to collect the body and resorted to an agitation .Since,they put up a road blockade,the area legislator Dhanavel along with the family members held talks with the hospital management .Since,no settlement arrived at,they continued their stir and blocked the road today also.Police held talks with them,but they were in no mood to deed to the request of the police.

Meanwhile,Dhanavel once again held talks with the hospital management in which an accord was reached and they called off their agitation.
