Road accident claims two lives in TN

Thoothkudi, Nov 9 (UNI) Two people were killed on the spot and six grievously injured when their car were travelling in rammed into the rear side of a lorry at Keezhairaal village near Ettayapuram here on Saturday, police said.
The occupants of the ill-fated car hailing from Cuddalore district were going to Lord Subramanya Swamy Temple at Tiruchendur, when the tragedy occurred.
According to Police, the driver of car while attempting to overtake the lorry, lost control and rammed into its rear side.
The deceased were identified as Nandakumar and Franklin, driver of the car.
The injured were admitted to the government medical college hospital here.
A case has been registered and further investigation was underway,police added.
