RMC simplifies birth and death registration process for citizens

Ranchi, Dec 16 ( UNI )
The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has taken an important step to further simplify, streamline and ensure timely registration of births and deaths within the area. Under the new arrangement, if a birth or death occurs in any hospital located within the municipal limits, citizens can now apply for registration on the spot through the concerned hospital itself.
With this facility, the entire registration process will be completed within the hospital premises, eliminating the need for citizens to visit the municipal corporation office or other government departments. During the application process, applicants must provide a valid email ID, through which the birth or death certificate will be issued and delivered within one week.
