Ahmedabad, Jul 18 (UNI) Sports Minister, Kiren Rijiju has affirmed that the ministry will 'provide extra financial help' to Indian Football propel to the next level.
"We have seen certain improvements in our men's as well as women's football in recent times. From the sports ministry, we will provide extra financial help wherever it's possible to scout, and nurture young talents as well as for the professional training, and other events,” Rijiju was quoted as saying by 'AIFF' on the sidelines of the Intercontinental Cup here to cheer for the Blue Tigers.
The 47-year-old minister also didn't hide his affinity towards football, and declared the Ministry of Sports will put more attention to "better training, coaching, facilities and other requirements.”
