Vijayawada Dec 3 (UNI) In the backdrop of audio release of his controversial film “Vangaveeti”, popular film director Ram Gopal Varma had a meeting with former MLAs Vangaveeti Radha Krishna and his mother V Ratna Kumari and discussed about their objections in the film, here today. Mr Varma produced a Telugu film “Vangaveeti”, based on the real life of former MLA Vangaveeti Ranga Rao, who was brutally murdered when he was observing fast unto death, demanding additional security as he was facing life threat, on December 26, 1988 in Vijayawada. Former MLA and YSRCP leader Vangaveeti Radha Krishna, the son of Vangaveeti Ranga Rao approached the court against the release of the film raising objections. Radha Krishna’s close friend and YSRCP MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao alias Nani acted as a mediator between Varma and Radha Krishna. The MLA told media that the negotiations with Varma did not yield results. Later, Mr.Varma met former Minister Devineni Rajasekhar Nehru, who was the main accused in the murder of Vangaveeti Ranga Rao. Addressing a press conference along with Nehru. Varma refused to comment on the outcome of his meeting with Radha Krishna and his mother Ratna Kumari. He made it clear that he would not take their objections into consideration and said that he planned to release the film on December 23, five days before Vangaveeti Ranga was murdered.
