Revenue collection increased during unlock : Sushil

Patna, Jul 2 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today said that revenue collection and sale in vehicles increased during the one month period of unlock.Mr Modi said here that the total revenue collection was only Rs 1,785.33 crore during the period of lockdown in April and May which increased to Rs 2,387.09 crore during unlock one in the month of June.
He further said that the sale of vehicle which was 14,562 in the month of May and April increased to 96,302 in June.He further said that almost all financial activities including construction resumed during unlock giving a boom in the sale of goods. Goods worth Rs 13,704 crore were transported to Bihar through e way bill in April and May which went up to Rs 13,662 crore in June.
The state realised only Rs 950.11 crore Commercial Taxes in April and May which went up to Rs 1,217.20 crore in June
