Returnees led to rise in COVID-19 cases: HP CM

Shimla, Jul 7 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday said at one point of time the state was about to become Corona free, but could not as cases increased sharply due to large number of people returning from different parts of the country.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while inaugurating of several developmental projects worth Rs 45 crore in Sundernagar Vidhan Sabha area of Mandi district through video-conferencing.
He assured the people that the Government was fully prepared to meet out any eventuality.
