New Delhi, Jul 13 (UNI) India's retail inflation for June stood at 6.09 per cent due to increase in prices of various food items, according to the data released by the government on Monday.
The data for the months of April and May was not released by the government, citing insufficient data collection amid the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus.
The Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI) in June stood at 7.87 per cent, compared to 9.20 per cent in May, the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation said.
