Resurvey of entire 3.31 Cr acres land to be taken up in phased manner: AP Minister

Kakinada, Oct 15(UNI) Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Revenue Pilli Subhas Chandra Bose has said that entire 3.31 Crore acres of land in the state would be resurveyed in a phased programme as part of the land records rectification process.

Addressing a public meeting to mark the launching of YSR Rythu Bharosa programmes at Panduru village near here on Tuesday , he said , the survey of lands in the state was done during the year 1911 and it was for the first time in the state’s history the resurvey was proposed.

"Initially the resurvey will be taken up as a pilot project in Jaggaiahpet mandal in Krishna district making use of the satellite technology and later extended to all constituencies .The agriculture cultivators act 2019 was meant for protection of the rights of tenant farmers without affecting the interests of the land owners .The government has allotted Rs.3,500 Crores for providing zero interests loans to the farmers," he added.

Referring to YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, he said , the agriculture profession was vulnerable to all types of problems as such to protect the farmers interests the government had initiated the scheme.

District collector D Muralidhar Reddy said that 4,28,077 lakh farmers in the district would be getting the monetary benefit of Rs 577.90 crores through YSR Bharosa Scheme. He further said that others who are all eligible could upload details like Aaadhar seeding and bank account details by November 15 to get benefit through this scheme.

He said the scheme would provide multiple benefits to the farmers like correct land records, crop protection and insurance coverage.

Vanga Geetha MP said festive atmosphere was seen in the state with the implementation of welfare schemes to all sections of the people promised by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his Padayathra .
