Restrictions in parts of Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 20 (UNI) The district authorities have imposed restrictions in the areas falling under seven police stations in the downtown, Shehar-e-Khas (SeK) and civil lines, Srinagar on Saturday.
District Magistrate Srinagar, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah said complete restrictions under Section 144 CrPC will be imposed in the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Khanyar, Rainawari, Nowhatta, Safakadal, MR Gunj, Maisuma and Kralkhud on Sunday.
“The restrictions have been imposed as a precautionary measure to avoid any untoward incident,” he added.
