Restrictions in parts of civil lines in Srinagar to prevent JKLF march

Srinagar, Feb 10 (UNI) Restrictions have been imposed today in parts of the civil lines, including historic Lal Chowk, the nerve centre of the summer capital, to foil Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) sit-in, demanding return of mortal remains of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and front founder Mohammad Maqbool Bhat.
Guru and Bhat were hanged and later buried in Delhi’s Tihar jail on February 9, 2013 and February 11, 1984 respectively.
JKLF had announced to take out a procession today from Maisuma and later hold a sit-in at Lal Chowk to press for their demand.
