Respite from heatwave in Delhi, light rainfall likely till June 2: IMD

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) Heatwave conditions are gradually reducing in Delhi, with only a few places in the national capital expected to exprience these conditions till tomorrow.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 44-45 degrees Celsius for the next few days, the India Meteorological Department said on Thursday.
This comes a day after the city’s Mungeshpur area recorded highest temperature ever at around 52.9°C, which the weather department later dismissed, clarifying that it could be due to technical error in the sensor or the local factor.
