Residential Training Programme on “Resource Management, Monitoring and Evaluation” by National Productivity Council from Dec 9

Panaji, Dec 3 (UNI) National Productivity Council, Under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, will be conducting a Residential Training Programme on “Resource Management, Monitoring and Evaluation” at Goa during December 9-13, 2019.
According to a statement, resource management comprises the acquisition and deployment of the internal and external resources required to deliver the project, programme or portfolio. Project Monitoring and Evaluation provides a way to assess the crucial link between implementers, beneficiaries and decision-makers by providing desired information showcasing project progress thereby contribute to transparency as well as accountability.
The Residential Training Programme has been designed with conceptual deliberations, case studies, success stories and group discussions for Middle/Senior level executives of Central and State Governments, Public Sector Undertakings, Private Sector Enterprises, Co-operative Sector Organizations, Financial Institutions, Academic Institutions, Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP), NBFCs, Corporations, Labour Unions/Associations for improving capabilities and efficiency of its employees.

Day temp above normal at many places over Sub-Himalayan

Pune, April 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal(5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Vidarbha and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.7°C was reported at Anantapur
(Rayalaseema) over the country.
