Reservation necessary for uplift of Muslims: Hussain Dalwai

Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar, Sep 24 (UNI) Former Congress MP and senior party leader Hussain Dalwai has said reservation is necessary for the uplift of Muslim society.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday evening here after a meeting on the subject of Muslim reservation, he said a grand reservation conference will be held in Mumbai on October 21.
Even though various communities have progressed after independence, the Muslim minority community remains backward, and its uplift is necessary to increase the speed of development in the country, he said.
