Research-based education is important, says Chandrakant Patil

Ahmednagar, Sep 6 ( UNI) Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil on Tuesday said the sub-centre of Savitribai Phule Pune University in Ahmednagar should plan to provide research-based education to the students.
The ground-breaking ceremony of the planned building of Savitribai Phule Pune University's Ahmednagar sub-centre was held at Baburdi Ghumt under the auspices of Higher and Technical Education, Textiles and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant Patil and Revenue, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, followed by Rajshree Shahu of New Arts, Science and Commerce College.
He was speaking while guiding the audience in the program held at Maharaj Auditorium. MLA Sangram Sonwane, Former Minister Shivajirao Kardile, Vice-Chancellor of the University Sanjiv Sonwane, Member of the General Assembly Rajendra Vikhe Patil, Registrar Dr.Praful Pawar, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Rajesh Pandey, Ahmednagar Sub Center Director Dr.Nandkumar Somvanshi, Baburdi Ghumt Sarpanch Namita Panchmukh, Deputy Sarpanch Tanaji Parbhane and members of the Management Council were present.
