Puri Gajapati Dibyasingh Dev, chairman of the temple body, while reacting to the demands of Daitapatis, had yesterday asked the chief administrator to place the inquiry report before the temple managing body at the earliest, stating that the incident had shocked the devotees. The devotees and the servitors have the right to know the facts, he had stated. Mr Mohapatra said the report was delayed due to cases in the Odisha High Court. Since the High Court had rejected the plea of suspended Daita servitors, it would be placed before the temple managing body soon, he added.
