Renzu facilitated for bagging best director award at Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival

Srinagar, May 3 (UNI) Kashmir-based Hollywood director Danish Renzu was facilitated by Kashmir Society International for winning the best film director award at Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival in New Delhi.
A spokesperson for the Kashmir Society International said the young Kashmiri filmmaker based in US has directed several films, prominent among them include award winning short film such as “In Search of America Inshallah’ and several other short art films on various universal subjects.
“Renzu is currently working on the film “The illegal” set in Los Angles featuring Oscar winning "Life of Pie" actor Suraj Sharma in the lead with story on immigrants in US. “His debut feature film “Half Widow” is likely to be released under Bollywood banner this year also,” he said.
