Removal of NEIGRIHMS Director is nothing: Meghalaya Health Minister

Shillong, Jun 1 (UNI) Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister, Alexander Laloo Hek on Monday said the decision to remove Prof (Dr) D. M. Thappa as Director of North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) Director, was nothing new.

"This is a pending issue not a new issue, The governing body already took a decision last year to remove the Director this is not a new issue. How it will affect COVID-19," Hek asked.
