Remain alert, operationally ready: Gen Singh to troops

Jammu, Oct 14 (UNI) General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Command Lieutenant General Surinder Singh today asked to troops to remain alert and operationally ready during his two-day visit to field formations in Pathankot, Samba and Jammu region including forward areas.
Lt Gen Surinder Singh, while reviewing the operational readiness of formations in the border areas had detailed interactions and deliberations with the commanders and interacted with troops.
He exhorted all troops to remain alert and operationally ready and emphasized the need to ensure foolproof security measures.
