Relaxation in Covid norms only after meeting with experts: Bommai

Bengaluru, Jan 19 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said on Wednesday that a decision on relaxing Covid restrictions would be taken after the issue at a meeting with experts.
"The experts are examining it. They are set to present a comprehensive picture at the meeting to be held on Friday. A suitable decision would be taken after getting clarity about the issue," he told reporters.
Bommai said the number of hospitalization cases is less in the current Coronavirus wave and hence there is a view that people want to carry on with their daily lives by following Covid guidelines.
