Regular exercise can help in minimising cause of Hernia: Doctor

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) A doctor from a Hospital in Mathura has suggested that regular exercise and avoiding heavy meals can help in minimising Hernia.
Suggesting ways which can minimize the cause of hernia, Dr Ajay Agrawal, Surgeon and HOD of GI, MAS and Bariatric Surgery Department at Nayati Medicity, Mathura, said,'' Hernia usually requires a surgery, be it open surgical or laparoscopic. However, some other ways which can minimize the cause of hernia are quit smoking, avoid heavy meals and start regular exercise''.
The doctor said the best way to prevent Hernia is to be extra careful while one puts any kind of strain on their body as the condition is primarily caused due to muscle weakness.
