Registrar of HP Central University dies of cardiac arrest

Hamirpur (HP), Oct 29 (UNI) Registrar of HP Central University Dr Sanjeev Sharma died of cardiac arrest on Thursday, family sources said. He was 55.
He suffered heart attack at home. He was taken to the local Medical College hospital where he was declared dead.
He also worked at the Chakmoh College in Hamirpur district prior to moving to the Central University.

Two killed in road accident in Punjab

Moga, Nov 28 (UNI) Two members of a family died on the spot when their car was hit by a tractor-trolly from the rear near Samalsar village of the district, police said here on Saturday.
The dead have been identified as Harbinder Singh (45) and mother Taranjeet Kaur (62). Three people were also injured in the incident which took place last night. The injured have been rushed to Civil hospital.

Traffic resumes on Kashmir highway, Mughal road still shut

Srinagar, Nov 28 (UNI) Traffic was on Saturday resumed on the 270-km-long Srinagar-Jammu national highway after remaining suspended on Friday for maintenance of the only all weather road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country.
