Ready to conduct elections if ECI declares early dates for general elections: CEO

Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) Telangana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Dr Rajat Kumar has clarified that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has given a schedule for preparation of Electoral Rolls which will be
completed by January one, 2019 and the same was informed to the press on Friday.
However, its is informed that if ECI which is the competent authority, takes a considered view for declaring dates for early conduct of general elections to Legislative Assembly and Parliament, the Election will be conducted accordingly, a statement here said on Saturday.
