RCP may emerge as an alternative of Nitish Kumar

Patna, May 23 (UNI) Amid sulking political atmosphere on the issue of renomination of the JD( U) outgoing Rajya Sabha Member Ramchandra Prasad, popular as RCP who has turned to be a "Rajanitik Mohra" (political tool) for the BJP.
Sources close to the JD(U) said that the party national president Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh, a close aide of Nitish Kumar and party parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha along with a major chunk of leaders of the party were against the renomination of RCP in Rajya Sabha election.
The sources disclosed that gauging the mood of Lalan Singh, a close confidant of Nitish Kumar, and other like-minded party leaders, Kumar during an informal interaction with media persons on various occasions had expressed his desire to become a member of Rajya Sabha with the hidden intention to prevent renomination of RCP in the Upper House.
