RCF manufacturing of 200 KMPH speed Coaches

Kapurthala, Feb 6 (UNI) Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala has started manufacturing of coaches to run at a speed of 200km per hour. This initiative is as per the proposal which was announced by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in 2015-16’s rail budget.
The new initiative involves manufacturing a rake of 20 coaches which comprises of 14 AC Chair Cars,
03 Executive Chair Cars and 03 Power cars. At present manufacturing of 04 coaches (02 Executive Chair Cars and 02 AC Chair Cars ) is on the way at RCF.
