RBI Mumbai lose to RSCC Delhi despite Ghadigaonkar's century

Chandigarh, Feb 12 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India lost to RSCC Delhi by sixwickets despite a brilliant century by their opener Sumit Ghadigaonkar (109) off 119 balls with 13 boundaries and one six in the 24th All-India JP Atray Memorial Cricket Tournament here today.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first RBI Mumbai were bowled out for 216 in 47.5 overs at GMSSS Sector 26 Chandigarh. Chirag Parmar (31) off 35 balls with 2 boundaries and 2 sixes was the only other batsman beside Sumit to shine for RBI. For RSCC Delhi Rahul Chaudhary 4 for 22 and Sunil Dalal 2 for 35 were the main wicket takers. The sixth wicket partnership of 74 runs between Sumit and Chirag was the highlight of the RBI Innings.
Replying RSCC Delhi reached the target of 217 for the loss of 4 wickets in 36.1 overs. Rahul Yadav 87 off 64 balls studded with 8 boundaries and five lusty sixes sealed the fate of the match. He was involved in a 96 runs stand for the fourth wicket with Parth Madann unbeaten 26. Sumitra Singh 3 for 49 was the most successful bowler for RBI. Rahul Yadav was given the man of the match award by Mrs. Rachana Dixit, Regional Director, RBI for Punjab, Haryana and U.T. RSCC got 4 points while RBI got zero.
