Ranchi police crack murder case of unidentified woman found at PHED HILL; Three arrested

Ranchi, Oct 5 (UNI) The Ranchi police have solved the case of an unidentified woman whose body was recovered on September 29 from PHED Hill in Fuchka Toli under the Sadar police station area. Acting on the directives of SSP Rakesh Ranjan, a special investigation team arrested three persons involved in the murder. The investigation revealed that the woman was killed over a dispute involving Rs 80,000.
City SP Paras Rana, said that a special team was constituted to probe the case. With assistance from the technical cell and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), police identified the deceased as Tanushree, daughter of Shravan Nayak, a resident of the Ormanjhi police station area.
During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the murder. Police said the prime accused, Jaipal Singh of Lohardaga, owed Rs 80,000 to Tanushree and was unwilling to repay the amount. When the victim demanded her money back, Jaipal lured her to PHED Hill, where he and his associates transferred another Rs 50,000 from her mobile via PhonePe before brutally killing her.
