New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Bollywood Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been approached to host the 1st episode of popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 8, trade sources said today. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen opening the episode with his dance medley of his own songs along with judges Sonakshi, Terence and Mohit Suri. According to the makers of the popular dance reality show, “Ranbir Kapoor will be perfect for the grand opening episode of 'Nach Baliye 8'. We are very excited and have our fingers crossed to see Ranbir Kapoor set the stage on fire with his dance and stage presence as host! Ranbir is a natural dancer and he will surely set a benchmark for the 10 Jodis (couples) and prep them up for the entire season. If things go as planned, we might be shooting later this week.” If Ranbir agrees to the offer by Star Plus, it will be the first time that the Bollywood heartthrob will be seen hosting a TV show. As of now, the only host locked is Karan Tacker. Upasana Singh, who was earlier locked as the second host, is no longer shooting the show. Karan Patel was also in talks with the makers but that deal is also called off.
