Ramdev to launch 'Patanjali Garment' showroom in Varanasi

Varanasi, Nov 16 (UNI) Yoga guru Swami Ramdev on Friday said that attempts to launch a 'Patanjali Garment' showroom here till December were being undertaken at a swift pace,where clothes based on a fusion of the country's ancient cultural traditions and modern fashion will be available for sale.
While praising the weaver community of the country, the yoga teacher said that they were the pride and the true gems of the nation.
Swami Ramdev, who was here for the shoot of an advertisement for the showroom among other events, told the media that all necessary arrangements were being undertaken to open the showroom next month, which will reportedly have 3500 garment classifications including 'Aastha', 'Sanskaar' and 'New Fit.' He also said that these exclusive apparels will be available for men, women as well children, adding that they will be a source of pride for the people.
He further said that the decision for opening the showroom was taken so that apart from being economically beneficial to the country, the country's dignity, self-respect, cultural legacy, traditions and the expertise of the weavers was also being respected through this move.
The advertisement featuring the yoga icon has been shot at the 'Saraswati' ghat of the river Ganga.
