Ramakrishnudu expresses surprise over changing statements by YSRCP leaders over holding LB poll

Vijayawada, Oct 29 (UNI) Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and former Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Thursday expressed surprise over 'changing' statements by the ruling YSRCP leaders over the conduct of local body election in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Ramakrishnudu recalled how the ruling YSRCP demanded continuation of the local body election despite spread of Coronavirus infection reached to peak level in March but now the ruling party was saying 'no' to fresh poll.
“The YSRCP leaders have no right to question the authority or jurisdiction of a Constitutional and autonomous institution like the State Election Commission (SEC)”, he said.
