Ram Gopal Varma to produce biopic titled 'Lakshmi's NTR'

Vijayawada, Sep 18 (UNI) Popular film director Ram Gopal Varma has all set to produce one more controversial film, the biopic of former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party Founder N T Rama Rao, titled “Lakshmi” s NTR”.
Lakshmi Parvathi is the widow of N T Rama Rao.
Mr Varma disclosed the making of “Lakshmi’s NTR” in his Twitter.
He said “the film Lakshmi’s NTR” will expose all the “real truths” behind the “true lies” of those who punched his (N T Rama Rao’s) stomach and stabbed his back.
Mr.
Varma said “Lakshmi’s NTR will be the true story of the real actor, total truth behind, what actually and really happened in NTR’s life, especially, towards the end.
After, finishing my complete research on NTR, I judiciously realized that instead of a biopic on NTR, the same biopic on NTR from the ultra pure understand with Lakshmi Parvathi will provide pneumatic insights into the vagaries of those situations” he said.
Responding on the RGV’s announcement of making the “Lakshmi’s NTR” film, NTR’s widow, N Lakshmi Parvathi, talking to a news channel, clarified that RGV had neither spoken to her over phone nor met her.
“If he really wants to make a biopic on NTR, I welcome it.
But the film should contain the facts only” she said.
The betrayers, who backstabbed NTR should be exposed in the film, she said and recalled that NTR and she toured the state and strove hard to bring the TDP back into power in 1994, but within few months, NTR was dethroned by conspirators.
It may be mentioned here that Mr Varma created controversy in the city few months ago by producing a Telugu film “Vangaveeti”, the true story of former MLA and faction leader Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga Rao, who was murdered while he was on a fast, demanding security to his life in 1989.
The murdered MLA’s wife and son, now YSRCP leaders, approached court against the film.
Two years ago Mr.
Varma produced a Telugu film “Raktha Charitra”, the biopic of Paritala Ravi, the then Telugu Desam party MLA and faction leader in Rayalaseema region, who was shot dead in broad day light in front of hundreds of his followers.
