Rakshak Foundation bags prestigious award at India CSR Summit 2018

Kolkata, Oct 05(UNI) Kolkata based Rakshak Foundation has bagged the '5th CSR Impact
Awards' in the category of Skill Development at the largest CSR Summit Of India, having a
gathering of 3000 NGOs and Corporate , India CSR Summit 2018 in New Delhi.
Union Minister of Human Resource Development and Water Resource Dr Satyapal Singh
handed over the award to Rakshak Group Director Chaitali Das at CSR Summit.
Dr. Satya Pal Singh said, “Distribution of wealth is healthy as happiness is in sharing. By
2022 the country should be rid of poverty and for this education is very important as it is
the key to growth."
Talking to UNI, Ms Das said, "I am honoured and privileged to receive the Award from the
Chief Guest of India CSR Summit Dr. Satyapal Singh on behalf of Rakshak Foundation
implementing partner of Rakshak Group in Skill Development for 'Jute Story Beyond Bars'
amidst big names like TATA Steel Limited, ICICI Foundation, Jindal Steel & Power Limited
and lots more. Rakshak Group is committed and will work for inclusive growth, gender equality, women empowerment and empowering lives through skill Development. This award will
boost up to the extreme."
Mr. Anant Kumar Hegde, Minister of State, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, Sushil Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, Asian Hotels (West) also were present in the Summit.
