Rajasthan govt to make stricter law for fair exams

Jaipur, Oct 17 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that his government will make the law stronger to prevent malpractices in recruitment examinations.
An ordinance will be brought in in this regard soon. In this, there will be provisions for strict action against those involved in cheating, paper leaks and other irregularities in competitive examinations.
The use of unfair means in recruitment examinations will be included in the category of cognizable offense as well as non-bailable offense and a provision will be made to increase the punishment from three years to seven years. Gehlot was addressing a high-level meeting of the Home Department held at the Chief Minister's residence on Sunday.

Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, on Saturday launched two ambitious projects; ‘Revival of Namda craft of Kashmir as a special pilot project under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 3.0’ and ‘Upskilling of artisans and weavers of Kashmir under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), component of PMKVY.'
While launching the initiative, Chandrasekhar said India has a rich heritage and is home to several traditional art forms.
