Rajasthan BJP MLA Kalyan Singh Chouhan passes away

Jaipur, Feb 21 (UNI) Rajasthan BJP MLA Kalyan Singh Chouhan died of cancer at the GBH American Hospital in Udaipur in the wee hours on Wednesday.
Chouhan, an MLA from Nathdwara constituency in Rajsamand district, was suffering from cancer since last three years.
He breathed his last at 0300 hrs.
The legislator had defeated Congress stalwart CP Joshi by a single vote in the 2008 Assembly polls.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and BJP state president Ashok Parnami condoled the death, saying it was a great loss to the party and Nathdwara.
As the news of his demise spread, his supporters reached hospital and a pall of gloom descended the area.
