Jaipur, Nov 18 (UNI) Congress has finally left five seats for allies here on Sunday paving way for the grand alliance to take on the ruling party , the BJP in the state in the coming Rajasthan assembly elections to be held on December 7.
Congress has fielded its candidates in 195 of the 200 assembly seats, while two seats out of five have been left for the National Lok Dal and the Democratic Janata Dal and one seat for the Nationalist Congress Party.
Till now, the Congress 's decision to not to form the grand alliance but now being a part of it is being seen as a long-term strategy, keeping in mind the Lok Sabha elections.
