Rain woes: Two teachers, a student rescued; traffic b/w Dharamshala-Hamirpur-Shimla snapped

Hamirpur (HP), Aug 19 (UNI) Two teachers and a student of the lower Hareta school were rescued on Monday when they were being swept away by gushing water while crossing a 'khad' to reach their school.
Those rescued by police and locals were identified as Anurag, Sunil Sharma and Pavan Kumar. They are undergoing treatment at the Galore hospital and were recevering.
Meanwhile, traffic between Dharamshala-Shimla via Hamirpur has been snapped due to heavy rains in the region since morning. The disruption has been caused due to damage to the bridge near Mair village of the district and road traffic from Dharamshala to Shimla has been diverted via Bhota-Patta and Ukhli.
