Rain havoc: K'taka sanctions Rs 50 cr for emergency relief works

Bengaluru, Aug 5 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa instructed officials to release Rs 50 crore for the emergency relief works.
He further instructed the Deputy Commissioners to take precautionary measures following heavy rains across the state.
He also complimented and called on Mr Darshan who completed with success in the IAS exams in Kannada.

Minister rejects allegations by Opposition leader Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, Sep 30 (UNI) Rejecting the opposition Congress party allegation about the Karnataka Government misleading public on health bulletin on COVID-19 issue, Minister for Medical Education Dr Sudhakar on Wednesday clarified that there was no truth in the allegations.
In a tweet he pointed out that on September 19, deaths in a private Hospital in Kolara was not received in time and the same has been published on September 24 while on September 20 one death reported was released on September 25, due to technical reasons.
